dENiZEN™ & JWT/XM LAUNCH NEW CAMPAIGN FOR SPRING AND SUMMER THATINSPIRES YOUNG PEOPLE TO ‘FIT OUT, START UP’

The dENiZEN™ brand, in partnership with JWT and XM-Asia unveiled a
digitally driven, fully integrated global Spring/Summer 2011 marketing
campaign.

The “Fit Out, Start Up” campaign is designed to inspire young dENiZEN™
consumers to pursue their passions and make a difference in their
communities – in their great fitting dENiZEN™ jeanswear.

JWT Hong Kong and Shanghai, as well as XM-Asia, combined forces to
create this fully integrated campaign consisting of film, digital,
print, outdoor, in-store and website: http://www.denizen.com/.

An interactive film has also been produced to capture the spirit of
the campaign. Featuring original rallying anthems created by musicians
from Amsterdam and London, the film is a true reflection of the
opportunities dENiZEN™ consumers have before them, and their
call-to-action to make these possibilities real.

The website offers a section where people around the world can create
their own start ups, upload their video or photo creations to start a
community and share their passion with others around the world. Videos
and print ads will be created featuring these projects. One video
showcases Lichtfaktor, an artist collective group from Cologne,
Germany, who express their creativity with light art. The ad will
spotlight their passion for environmental sustainability through a
viral video campaign and print advertising.

Li Wei, “zero gravity” artist from China, captures the collective
energy and optimism behind the dENiZEN™ youth in the print ads.

JWT was appointed the lead agency for the dENiZEN™ brand in December
2010.The online campaign marks the brand’s first ever global ad
campaign, which will be rolled out over several countries during the
next few weeks.

Sony Wong Takes Charge of PHD Singapore

Strengthening PHD’s positioning in the market, Sony Wong has been
appointed Managing Director for Singapore. He is responsible for
driving PHD’s leadership position and growth in Singapore.

Sony joins PHD from Hawley and Hazel where he was Singapore Country
Manager. He has held a variety of senior positions spanning blue-chip
brands and media agencies in his career of over twenty years. Sony led
Carat Singapore, where he played a key role in expanding its new
business footprint before moving on to Maxus as Managing Director. He
was later promoted to Managing Director of Mindshare Singapore, where
he led his team in winning several major business pitches and industry
awards.

Earlier in his career as a marketer, Sony helped FMCG conglomerates,
such as Asia Pacific Breweries and Unilever, to launch new products,
expand market share and develop innovative communication campaigns.
Commenting on his appointment, Sony says, “Joining PHD is an exciting
new challenge that I am looking forward to.  PHD is gaining positive
momentum in the industry as an agency to watch out for. It thinks out
of the box in connecting a brand to its audience and I am confident of

Moove Media and BBC Knowledge Brings Wildlife to Singapore

Moove Media, Singapore’s leading Out-Of-Home transit operator brings
wildlife to commuters for the launch of BBC Earth on BBC Knowledge.
Themed around “Because No One Gets You Closer”, the campaign deployed
a themed concept train and large format advertising spaces across two
key NEL stations.

The campaign celebrates the premiere of BBC Earth- a new programming
block on BBC Knowledge- that showcases award-winning and epic natural
world programming from the BBC. Using inspiration from premiering
series on BBC Earth, Planet Earth, the channel brings commuters closer
to wildlife with a nature-themed concept train that transports them
visually to jungles, the arctic and aqua wildlife.

Moove Media displayed an inaugural 3D sculptured life-size polar bear
breaking out of an ‘ice wall’ at NEL Serangoon which has inspired a
photo-taking frenzy among commuters. The campaign continues to reach
and create hype amongst commuters who step off at NEL Harbourfront as
they face an oceanic digital wall featuring epic highlights from BBC
Earth on BBC Knowledge.

The OOH campaign was also supported by mainstream advertising, online
advertising and social media campaign to drive awareness and
viewership for BBC Earth.

PIZZA HUT ROLLS OUT AD CAMPAIGN WITH JWT TO SUPPORT MENU REVAMP

JWT Singapore is helping Pizza Hut celebrate their 30th anniversary
with a comprehensive advertising campaign around the restaurant chain’s
newly launched dine-in menu, which was introduced on 11th April,
expanded to include new appetizers : Cheesy Mushrooms and Bruschetta
with Tomatoes; a new Western Favourites category including Hut’s
Chicken Steak and Beefy Delight Wrap; new drinks and desserts such as
the pizza-based Choco-Berry Banana.

To communicate the new variety of menu options, an integrated campaign
was launched around the concept of “Change”. Change, because Pizza Hut
has established itself as top-of-mind for quality pizzas over the past
30 years, and it was necessary to create a huge impact in the minds of
consumers that Pizza Hut can now be associated with a greater variety
of food. Hence, the idea of change takes centrestage in the TVC, OOH
and launch print ads, with the TVC demonstrating a cheeky and
unexpected side of the changes taking place in Pizza Hut.

The campaign launched only yesterday, April 14 and included TV, press,
outdoor and digital banners which run through till June 2011. Look out
for upcoming meal deals and promotions that give customers an extra
reason to try Pizza Hut’s new offerings.

4As introduces its brand new Executive Director

The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Singapore (4As) has
appointed Nara Chia as its new Executive Director, taking over from
Chua Bee Hong who has stepped down to join the private sector.

Nara works closely with the executive committee to expand on 4As’
objectives – elevating the stature and prominence of Singapore’s
advertising and marketing communications industry, while acting as the
collective voice of the industry, and nurturing upcoming advertising
talent and creativity. She will represent the 4As in related industry
bodies, and government-led industry councils/panels at both national
and international levels.

A seasoned new media professional, Nara brings with her a wealth of
experience in developing and growing opportunities in this
fast-evolving industry, while maintaining close relations with key
stakeholders, media owners and government bodies.

Undergoing a massive revamp, the association has also renewed its
secretariat team. Welcoming Nara and the new team on board, Theodore
Choo, President of 4As, says “Much good changes are happening within
