JWT Singapore has been appointed the creative agency on MediaCorp’s
new Over-The-Top (OTT) service.
In January this year, MediaCorp announced plans to introduce the
Internet Protocol television service in the second half of 2011. The
name ‘OTT’ refers to the fact that the service allows people to view
programmes and content in addition to what’s available through their
traditional TV service. It will be delivered over broadband connection
and available on multiple screens including TV sets, PCs, tablet
devices and mobile phones.
The assignment will see JWT creating the advertising campaign for the
launch of OTT, which will use a full mix of TV, online, print, and
outdoor elements.

JWT will begin working on the campaign right away with an expected
roll out later this year.
