McCann WorldGroup & SIM Students
Earlier this month, McCann EricksonSingapore hosted 40 students from theUSA and acrossAsia from the SIM Global Education and University’s (SIM) ‘Summer Abroad Programme’.
This 6-week SIM programme is designed to help enhance understanding of the Asian business environment. It saw students visiting organizations such as McCann WorldgroupSingapore to gain first-hand experience of how critical an understanding of Asian culture is in today’s world of business. Students came toSingapore from a wide range of international universities including University at Buffalo (UB) SUNY (State University of New York), SUNY Geneseo andBinghamton,KonanUniversity (Japan).

Hay Lee Keng, Manager at SIM said of the visit. “Our students had this great opportunity to visit one of the world’s leading marketing solutions company, understand more about the vibrancy of the ad business and how it operates in the Asian setting. The students are motivated after the visit and have interests in seeking future career possibilities in the related industry around the globe.
Further to this visit to McCann, the students will also be visiting different industries, including a local logistic group and global pharmaceutical R&D company.
