55 jury members are currently in Singapore judging the best creative advertising and communications from Asia Pacific. The winners of the Spikes Asia Awards will be announced at the much anticipated Awards Ceremony taking place tonight at the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore.
The Festival began on Sunday afternoon with seminars from Coca-Cola, CASBAA and Cheil Worldwide whilst yesterday had already seen Yahoo! and JWT take to the stage. The rest of the day saw a further 10 seminars and 3 workshops from the likes of Campaign Asia Pacific, DDB and Renren. The Festival programme continued well into the night with Networking After Dark; an evening of fun, networking and drinks with the offices of JWT, Lowe Asia Pacific, McCann Worldgroup, Ogilvy & Mather and Starcom MediaVest opening their doors to registered delegates.
The Young Spikes Integrated Competition kicked-off with teams having to create an exciting and eye-catching campaign in just 48 hours for the Singapore Red Cross and the Young Spikes Media Competition also started with teams creating an innovative media strategy for the Breast Cancer Foundation. Competitors will present their submissions to dedicated juries before the winners are honoured on stage with their gold medals at the Awards Ceremony.
