Fulford PR has been brought onboard the account of Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation Signature Art Prize for a ten-month stint, one of the agency’s many recent wins in the government sector.
APB Foundation Signature Art Prize is a triennial, premier juried prize established by APB Foundation in partnership with Singapore Art Museum (SAM) and this is its second instalment after the inaugural initiative in 2008. The Signature Art Prize awards artists in the Asia Pacific region who work with all forms of contemporary visual art. The agency’s responsibilities include formulating and implementing effective public relations and communications strategies over the campaign-period and leveraging on its core regional contacts to reach out to key foreign media.
Tan Boon Hui, Director of SAM commented, “Fulford PR’s competencies and strength in arts promotion is clearly evident and we have established a good working relationship, having worked with them for more than a year on other major projects. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with them in this project.”
“We at Fulford PR always have an affinity with art and we believe art enhances appreciation of culture and creativity in society. We are humbled to be working with SAM on this premier project, as it notably demonstrates our strength and affirms our standing in the arts landscape,” Linda Fulford, Managing Director of Fulford PR.
SAM has been a longstanding client with FPR, having appointed the agency on retainer to handle the museum and Singapore Biennale 2011. SAM’s overseeing body, the National Heritage Board, has also awarded the agency a one-year retainer. Other current government clients include Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports and Singapore Sports Council.
