Edwin Koh has e-mailed the media, saying that Friday 7 October was his last day with MediaCorp.
Koh has been with MediaCorp for over five years, most recently as SVP Marketing and previously headed up advertising sales across the company’s TV, radio, print, online and outdoor media offerings. He joined MediaCorp back in 2006 from Samsung where he was Senior Director. Prior to that, Koh was Senior Director (Consumer Marketing) at SingTel and Strategic Manager (Corporate Marketing) at Asia Pacific Breweries.
He is on three months’ leave before starting a new job in January 2012.
This is MediaCorp’s second senior departure this year. Clifton Yong, then Chief Commercial Officer, left the company in July. Yong’s exit came soon after the promotion of Shaun Seow to MediaCorp CEO and Board Director, replacing Lucas Chow who resigned in January 2011.
