PHD Worldwide, a global media agency under the Omnicom Media Group, has unveiled its new book 2016 – Beyond the Horizon across the globe.
2016 is PHD’s third book on the marketing landscape and looks at the new technologies that will become prevalent over the next five years and their impact on society and the marketing and communications industry. It will be sold on Amazon with proceeds going to Unicef and David Fischer, Vice President of Advertising and Global Operations. Facebook has provided the foreword.
2016 explores the likely developments within areas such as connected TVs, markerless augmented reality, enhanced voice-recognition, Natural User Interface (NUI) and NFC (Near Field Communication) and how, coupled with the acceleration of social media usage, they are changing the actual physics of marketing.
Mark Holden, PHD’s Worldwide Strategy and Planning Director and primary author of the book.
