Clear Channel’s iconic event, the out&about rally 2011, came back with
a bang last weekend! After being on hold in 2010 for its international
rebranding exercise, participation this year extended past creative
agencies, media agencies and clients to include the public into the
With teams of 2 to 4 contestants per car, participants were given a
route card that led them to specific bus shelters around the island.
They pitched their street knowledge, intelligence and agility against
other team cars as they drove from shelter to shelter and amenity to
amenity, gathering clues and took part in challenges that would help
them to ultimately win big “cash prizes”!
Aimed at providing a clearer understanding of Clear Channel’s island
wide coverage and varying brand portfolios including
create&collaborate and people&places, the event offered loads of
weekend fun for free, without any registration fees!
