A jury of industry executives at the UK’s ME Awards affirmed Netbiscuits’ pole position as the leading mobile web publishing platform
The company won the Mobile Entertainment Award 2011 for ‘Best Mobile Web Publishing Platform’ at Mobile Entertainment Magazine’s annual ME Awards ceremony in London last night, the second time that Netbiscuits has won the prestigious mobile industry award.
“We are thrilled to have built on our excellent track record and are proud to have once again been recognised as the best mobile web development and publishing platform by some of the mobile industry’s leading minds”, said Netbiscuits co-founder and CEO, Michael Neidhoefer.
“Netbiscuits is constantly evolving its offering in tune with the mobile browsing landscape. Our goal is that our customers, partners and the mobile web developer community remain as innovative and agile as possible when creating and delivering mobile optimized sites. This is the case in e-commerce where we are seeing tremendous growth, also in broadcasting and publishing where we have enjoyed great traction since our inception”, says Duncan Hallas, Netbiscuits EMEA Commercial Director. “Watch this space in 2012 as we’ll be adding exciting new features and products to our existing portfolio that will not only enable our customers to boost performance and ROI of their mobile programmes, and help to extend our leadership in the mobile web app space.”
Now in its sixth year, the ME Awards acknowledges companies leading in the mobile content space. The winners in the 18 categories are voted by a judging panel consisting of hundreds of executives from all parts of the mobile business in the UK.
The host of the ME Awards is Mobile Entertainment, a publication by Intent Media, an independent UK publisher specialising in news and online portals focusing on digital content.
