nydc launched an integrated marketing campaign to celebrate life this
Christmas, big city style – through integrated communications
channels.
The story revolves around Santa’s mischievous elves spreading surprise
gifts in Christmas stockings attached to nydc’s festive log cakes.
Santa is hoping that customers who have purchased these delightful log
cakes will inform him of his missing stockings by keying in the code
numbers found on the stockings through nydc’s Facebook page. If
Santa’s missing stockings are found, he will reward these customers
with a weekly surprise gift.
A major marketing campaign mooted by SUTL Group’s General Manager of
Marketing, Vivien Teo, says, “we want to make this Christmas
celebration a special event for our existing and new customers through
interesting and engaging communication platforms – using social media
to engage customers and fans, radio to extend our reach to commuters,
ground activation with choirs in CBD areas and in our restaurants to
create the festive mood, online shout outs, PR and eDMs.”
nydc tapped on Briq, an integrated full-service advertising agency, to
develop, plan and execute its integrated marketing campaign to provide
interesting engagement with customers. Jim Goh, Briq’s CEO commented

At the same time, nydc is also welcoming new fans with an attractive

Facebook fan page.
