Leanne Cutts, Vice President for Marketing at Kraft Foods Asia Pacific
will preside as Chief Judge for APPIES 2012, to be held on 26 & 27
July 2012 at the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS).
Now in its third year, APPIES 2012 – Asia Pacific Marketing Congress –
is slated to be one of
the leading knowledge exchange events in Asia for marketers and their
partners. Organised
by the Institute of Advertising Singapore (IAS), APPIES 2012 will
recognise and celebrate
the best in Marketing Communications and Advertising Effectiveness
from 100 of the best marketing campaigns from across the region.
These campaigns will be presented by their creators or brand marketers
to the region’s delegates via a unique and challenging platform: a
summary of the campaign’s strategy, ideas and execution in a 4-minute
video, followed by a 6-minute ‘live’ disposition before rounding off
the session with a 10-minute dialogue with the judging panel and
audience members from the Asian marketing community.
“The unique 4-6-10 format of live presentations of marketing cases has
proven to be very effective in facilitating lively exchanges between
campaign presenters, judges and participants. We want to bring it to
the next level. To win at APPIES 2012 means you have really impressed
the best of the best in marketing. That’s why we have Leanne on board,
to continue to raise the bar,” said chairperson of the APPIES, Ms
Shufen Goh , co-founder and Principal of R3.
“At Kraft Foods, we believe in participating in the industry,
especially when it’s focused on driving marketing excellence and
effectiveness. The APPIES is like a two-day marketing MBA to learn
from the best, so I’m delighted to be leading the judging process to
ensure we recognise the best breakthrough campaigns,” says Leanne.
APPIES 2012 will also include specially curated events discussing the
Future Of Industry, where attendees can share and learn from the best
minds and ideas in the business via stimulating forums and keynote
sessions. For more information, please visit http://www.appies.asia.
