Moove Media Pte Ltd, ComfortDelGro’s outdoor advertising arm and
Singapore’s leading transit media owner, celebrated the opening of its
new office yesterday to much fanfare – a retro carnival-themed party,
complete with a gaming arena, food stalls and ‘live’ bands.
The 70,000 sq ft new office – aptly called “Merryland” – houses all of
the company’s various departments and facilities, including its Taxi
Installation Bay, under one roof. It occupies the entire second floor
of the building, which is located at the intersection of Marymount
Road and Sin Ming Avenue.
“Merryland” – as the name implies – is all about a place filled with
fun and creativity – an idea birthed forth by Moove’s very own Chief
Executive Officer, Mrs Jayne Kwek. She said: “I wanted an office that
was fun and cheery where we could come, work and be creative. So, the
word ‘merry’ came to mind, inspired by where we are located,
Marymount. It’s wonderful to be able to invite our business partners
into our new home and treat them to an enjoyable evening at our
‘Funtime with Moove’ Merryland Carnival Party.”
Invited guests, including clients, were not only treated to an evening
of fun, games, treats, prizes and food, but were also given a guided
tour of the company’s facilities, including its Printing Plant where
its state-of-the-art environment-friendly printers are showcased. All
guests were later given a goodie bag, each containing a custom made
box filled with childhood favourites like Five Stones and Chapteh.
Rebecca Tan, Managing Director, Media Client Leadership Singapore, The
Nielsen Company: “The goodie bag of childhood games was an innovative
concept. I had a fun time soaking in the atmosphere.”
