Shopping came to a 5-minute standstill on Sunday afternoon as 80 volunteers from the Singapore Kindness Movement froze in position simultaneously amidst the hustle and bustle at Bugis Junction’s Atrium.
The volunteers ‘melted’ instantly when passers-by walked near enough for the former to hand out 150 stalks of kindness daisies with little notes that have this year’s campaign tagline “There is always time to make someone’s day” printed on them.
This campaign aims to remind Singaporeans that there is always time to make someone’s day and it only takes a fraction of our time to carry out kind personal acts that exude warmth and break barriers.
