Singapore companies swept 6 out of the 9 award categories up for grabs at the 13th British Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Business Awards at the Shangri-La Hotel on Thursday October 4.
City Developments Limited, a first time participant at the awards, came up tops in the Exceptional CSR Practice category while Singapore Repertory Theatre clinched the Inspirational Creativity award on its 2nd try. Other Singapore companies which won big were: Brewerkz Pte Ltd for Customer Service Excellence, Tanglin Trust School for Education & Training Excellence and ASLAN Pharmaceuticals Pte Ltd for SME Rising Star. Danielle Warner, Founder of Expat Insurance Pte Ltd, was voted Young Professional of the Year.
The evening’s other winners were multi-award winner Rolls-Royce Singapore which took home both the Productivity Improvement Award and Innovation in Business Award, and Faithful & Gould for Outstanding Professional Services.
