Omnicom Group Inc. has successfully completed its 4th year of digital:works on 5th October, 2012. Designed, managed and run by Omnicom agencies in partnership with local universities, digital:works is a unique experience for executives of any organisation seeking to build their understanding and capabilities in digital marketing.
digital:works started in 2008 in China with Fudan University, and subsequently expanded to Singapore in partnership with Singapore Management University and India with the Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad. The course launched in Indonesia this year, in conjunction with the University of Indonesia.
digital:works is beneficial for anyone aiming to learn about digital marketing, to understand its fundamentals, and further brand engagement with consumers. The programme is divided into three modules comprising lectures, workshops, panel discussions and provides in-depth insights, knowledge to demonstrate how digital is changing the marketing communications industry. The programme also inspires participants to continue learning on their own.
80% of the lectures are taught by digital experts from Omnicom agencies and 20% are taught by individuals representing partnering universities, industry, and clients. Some of the lecturers this year, included Matt Harty, (GM of Accuen), Rajat Basra (CEO, PHD Indonesia) and Arlene Ang (CEO Digital, Omnicom Media Group China).
