WPP group chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell joins a host of Chinese media heavyweights, including Baidu, Tencent and Sina Weibo, on stage at The Festival of Media Asia 2013 in Singapore. Adding to its already stellar line-up, other recently confirmed speakers include Bloomberg Media Group chief executive Andy Lack, Kimberly-Clark senior director of marketing APAC Michelle Froah and Maxus global chief executive Vikram Sakhuja, the first global chief executive to be based in Asia.
This year’s agenda boasts a host of advertisers including Mastercard Worldwide, Coutts, Manchester United, Volkswagen, Chrysler, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Coca-Cola, Diageo and Unilever. “We stand to gain a great deal, learning from their experiences and hearing the secrets of their success,” says C Squared chief executive and Festival founder Charlie Crowe. “The Festival of Media Asia is the best place to come in contact with brands, and hear best practices and successes directly from them.”
This year’s Festival theme is ‘Mobility: The issue of 2013’, with speakers focusing on the topics of brand mobility, business mobility, content mobility and cultural mobility.
The Festival of Media Asia is taking place from the 3-5 March 2013 at W Singapore on Sentosa Cove.
