The social media tool is being used in over 40 Gelatissimo stores.Local Measure helps businesses, with one or many stores, improve customer service by engaging with frank and honest conversations on social media, leveraging aggregated data across Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Instagram to provide meaningful insights for retailers. As results are captured in real-time and retailers can immediately adjust their strategy based on live feedback.
Local Measure CEO Jonathan Barouch said that while consumers ‘let loose’ on social media about services and products they purchase in a way they might never do in person, retailers brave enough to listen and learn from these honest conversations stand to gain huge benefits. While many large organisations invest heavily in customer surveys to gauge consumer feedback, Local Measure identified a real demand from businesses in Asia that wanted a simple tool to listen and respond to a consumer culture that thrives on venting.
