The National Geographic Society and Sundance Company will bring audiences from Singapore and the Asian region even closer to their team of world-famous explorers, photographers, filmmakers, scientists and adventurers through a rich public programme of speakers presenting their stories at the Esplanade Concert Hall this coming August and October.
As part of the Society’s mission to inspire people to care about the planet, National Geographic Live comes to Asia for the first time to present two extraordinary adventurers who will share their amazing stories in an interactive presentation that promises to captivate, enliven and motivate.
Behind every great National Geographic story, there is a storyteller who travels to the wildest places on earth to bring home epic tales of adventure and discovery. National Geographic Live’sSingapore series will feature two speakers – David Doubilet and Bryan Smith on 25 August and 9 October 2014 respectively.
The debut of National Geographic Live in Asia was made possible by sponsorship from National Geographic Channel, Nanyang Technological University, Quotient TravelPlanner and Fullerton Hotel Singapore. These partners have joined with National Geographic Live to make the featured speakers accessible to the curious minds of audience members and in turn, make them more sensitive towards the geographical and social issues around the world, without even leaving Singapore’s shores.
