Microsoft announced the launch of advertising for Outlook.com in Hong Kong, already available in seven markets in Asia Pacific – Australia, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. The portal
offers advertisers a quality, trusted platform with a global reach of up to 400 million active users and advertising experiences that are fully-integrated, highly relevant and simple, both for the consumer and the advertiser.
Launched in April 2013 as a personal email service replacing Hotmail, Outlook.com has experienced exciting growth in markets across Asia Pacific, helping advertisers reach out to quality worldwide audiences :
• 400 million active email accounts
• 218 million unique visitors per month
• 15 billion minutes of usage per month
Standard Chartered became the first brand to use Outlook.com in Hong Kong as part of a campaign to drive online applications for personal loans. Brands such as Samsung, Toyota and Resorts World Sentosa have already used advertising on Outlook.com as part of their marketing campaigns.
