Chairman’s Message :
On behalf of the Effie Awards and the Institute of Advertising Singapore, I would like to thank you for your interest and passion in competing alongside the most effective Marketers and Agencies in Singapore.
The Effie Awards’ mission is to honour the marketing communications industry’s most effective work. Founded in 1968, it is the only globally recognized award that honours achievements for meeting and exceeding advertising and marketing objectives. Winning an Effie has become a global symbol of achievement.
To have a chance, campaigns must be a magical blend of disciplines – informative research, insightful planning, appropriate media and inspiring creative execution. They must demonstrate true partnership between agency and client in the creation, management and building of a brand to drive desired results. Work that, to put it bluntly, works. If it doesn’t get results, it doesn’t get an Effie.
This year, Effie Awards Singapore celebrates its 10th anniversary. To mark the occasion, IAS and the Effie team have decided to launch a number of new initiatives around the awards programme, in order to add value to the fraternity. This includes the launching of an Effie Week, which will include workshops, networking events and panel discussions. We’ll also be awarding Singapore’s most effective agency of the last 10 years.
