Have you ever snapped a QR code, a black and white matrix that appears in magazines, newspapers and even presidential election pamphlets? If so, you would know that it takes you straight into a website. But that’s not all a QR code can do.
A new company now has users snapping QR codes to unlock privileges and gain loyalty card stamps in connection with an iPhone application called around! which focuses on location-based social buying and loyalty programmes. It was created by Gozo Labs, a technology start-up company incubated by NUS Enterprise.
